Switzerland
I made to Switzerland. The trip here was pretty good considering it didn’t start out too well.
I arrived in Sacramento airport 2 hours before my flight. I went to the airline located in the brand new terminal B (Nice terminal BTW), specified by my itinerary. Found out it was the wrong airline. I was on an airline terminal A. Luckily terminal A and B are connected via the parking garage, so it was a short walk.
Checked in, checked bag, strolled to the gate… The plane 45 minutes late. The flight eventually took off 15-20 minutes after scheduled departure. The connecting flight didn’t leave for a couple hours later so I was ok.
The flight to Switzerland was very good. It made up for the delay in Sacramento. It arrived 45 minutes early. Landed, went through customs in record time. (About a minute. Best customs ever!) Picked up my waiting bag and left.
My friend’s mom picked me up. We dropped off my bag at my friend’s place, then went to dinner. Later, I met up with my friend and then went to an Aikido class…, where I got teach for a portion of the class…. Guess I’m doing it again Saturday….
We finished off the evening with everyone from the class going to a place called the Gecko Bar.
